So we were able to get the project that we wanted and we have started on getting the source code to compile. We created a Google group to create a email address that would get to all of us but for some reason I can't get on it yet.
We dug around in the groups wiki documents and found a mailing list but no irc chat channels yet. On interesting find was that they use second life to communicate. It also appears that they use Twitter and Facebook but we need to dig deeper into it to make sure that it is a real form of communication.
